Leaving the boat ramp you go a straight shot out to Jug Creek, Baack Bay isnt really for goofing around due to the shallows. Stay within the markers and carefulu around 2 blind turns. Once out to the ICW, southbound for about a mile the westward staying semi close to the islands. There are shallows here as well, pay attention or jusy follow me. Once past the islands, its quite safe.
We should be back to 2:30 or 3:00 to avoid most of the T Storms.

Weather: Bokeelia | Little Gasparilla Island/Boca Grande Sandbar

Bokeelia area is not a good place to just unknowing “rip around” due to the shallows and the shoals. We can make a nice 7 mile trip north to the Train Trestle and Sandbar if you would like. There are numerous islands that I have not been to because I don’t know my way around them just yet. I will always take the known safe route to any location before winging it or just guessing without a GPS map. Heidi might stay at the Cayo Costa inner Lagoon. Bring snacks and water/etc
