Ride to Stump Pass 2020-10-16

That was fun. Today’s ride was my first time to Stump Pass.
The launch from Bokeelia was easy, no waiting and the water was calm. Once we got out into Charlotte Harbor, it got a little more rough but I have been in a lot worse. No biggie. Just give it more gas.
Eventually we made it through Boca Grande heading north up the ICW. Seriously nice properties there. Finally made to Stump Pass and wowza! It is absolutely beautiful! The water and the beaches.
Took the Gulf side back following the coastline to Boca Grande Inlet. The ocean was pretty smooth and could have gone full throttle most of the way if I wanted but Heidi says I cant blow up her ski. Through Boca Grande Inlet and back across Charlotte Harbor to Bokeelia. 58 miles of fun. Hope to spend a day at the beach next time but duty calls. be home by 4.

Solo Ride from Burnt Store Boat Ramp 2020-09-25

Launched for the first time from Burnt Store Boat ramp. The idle speed out was slow but gave time to look at the properties. Some really nice houses. After passing the bridge, i encountered a Dolphin. It stayed with me through the entire run from the bridge to the bay just past Micelli’s. I t was quite an experience. The Dolphin was playing around me going around me, under me, in front of me, nudging my jet ski. If I stopped, it would stop. Was really an amazing experience.

River Ride and Telegraph Creek 2020-09-11

I saw a squirrel so I put on some new parts on the 2019 GTX230. Installed are a JP Racing Inc intake+ filter and a JP Racing Oil catch can. The catch can was was put on because when I removed the OEM intake pipe, it had a lot of oil in it and as we all know, that oil will not combust, thus less power. I decided this was a good opportunity to speed test as well. The fastest top speed was 74 mph

Joy Ride 2020-09-04

Decided to go for a spin this morning since this is a holiday weekend coming up which means a complete mess at the boat ramps and out on the water. It was HOT! this morning and a semi shitshow at St James Monroe boat ramp which is just a warmup for tomorrow. There were already a lot of boats out today causing HUGE wakes. Great if you want to jump, not so great if you d don’t..
I cruised to Blind Pass, where I had a “school”of Black tip sharks around me. I wasn’t fast enough to get my phone to camera mode. Hung out for a short period and then blasted to the Sanibel Lighthouse, First Round island then Picnic Island which I had all to myself.
